The new Kairiki 8 Shimano is the new version of the first Kairiki still made in Japan, but additionally with a braiding technology called “VT construction method”. This PE braid is very strong and smooth for greater casting distances. It is available with a diameter of 0.06mm to 0.42mm, with a maximum strength of 100lbs. It is ideal for all spin fishing, both in fresh water and in the sea, as it is very sensitive, smooth and quiet. In addition to the colours green (Mantis Green) and grey (steel grey), it is now available in yellow (highly visible) and multi-coloured (for deep fishing). The Kairiki 8 is finally a very good braid for jigging as it has low water resistance and elasticity of less than 3%.
